报告摘要：Soft Matter and Biological physics are growing areas in the application of synchrotron radiation. I will present selected examples for recent experiments done by the Heidelberg group at European and US synchrotron sources. An area of active research is the study of individual organelles in functional genomics research using X-ray microscopy. In the second part of my talk I will discuss the development of in-line holography using VUV and soft X-rays at BESSY in Berlin and the first experiments on holographic imaging with the Free Electron soft X-Ray Laser FLASH in Hamburg.
