报告人简介：
Prof. Cao received his B.S. degree in Nuclear Physics from Lanzhou University in 1994 and M.S. degree in Particle & Nuclear Physics from China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) in 2002. He received his Ph.D. from Nuclear and Radiation Engineering Program in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Prior to joining OSU, Dr. Cao was a Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). At OSU, Prof. Cao has founded the Nuclear Analysis and Radiation Sensor (NARS) laboratory with major research interests including nuclear instrumentation & radiation detection, radiation sensor development, and reactor physics. Dr. Cao has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Cao is a member of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and an IEEE senior member.
