报告简介:
Producing of nuclear fragments in nuclear reactions is well known and it is very important for many applications. In my talk I concentrate on fundamental mechanisms responsible for this phenomenon: The evaporation and fission of compound nucleus at low energies, and the multifragmentation at high energies. I demonstrate a deep connection between all mechanisms that allows for new theoretical interpretation of some reactions. For example, the multifragmentation was intensively studied during last two decades in heavy-ion collisions. It can be used for studyies of the phase transitions and the equation of state of nuclear matter at subnuclear densities and moderate temperatures. Its connection with astrophysical processes taking place during the collapse of massive stars and supernova explosions is also discussed.
