报告简介:
Heavy-ion collisions generate not only extremely hot and dense quark-gluon matter, but also produce extremely strong transient electromagnetic fields. We will discuss the general properties of these fields, like the strength, spatial dependence, time evolution. These strong electromagnetic fields have significant influence on the transport properties of the quark-gluon plasma, particularly, when there are parity-odd domains in the quark-gluon plasma, the electromagnetic field causes chiral magnetic effect, chiral separation effect, and chiral electric separation effect. We will discuss the properties of these anomalous transport and its possible experimental consequences in heavy-ion collisions. We will also discuss the possible realization of the anomalous transport in cold atoms.
