报告人简介:
    1986年本科毕业于兰州大学,1993年在中科院近代物理所获硕士学位,1998年加拿大McGill大学或理学博士。美国物理协会、核医学协会及国际IEEE协会会员。1987至1999年主要从事相对论重离子核物理研究,先后参加了在美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室(LBL)和布鲁克海文国家实验室(BNL)的多个国际合作实验。2000年转入核医学影像领域,先后在美国北卡罗莱纳大学、约翰霍普金斯大学医学院从事核医学分子影像研究工作。2004年底中科院“百人计划”引进回国工作;2012年获澳大利亚卧龙岗大学终身教职。现主要从事小动物活体内分子影像、高分辨率的microSPECT/CT成像系统的研制和开发、精确定量的三维图像重建方法、Monte Carlo模拟成像系统、成像质量评估及医学成像和手术应用等方面的科研和教学工作。

Advanced radiation detector instrumentations for medical imaging and therapy applications

The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) at University of Wollongong is one of the largest medical physics education and research institutions in the Asia Pacific region. CMRP has a demonstrated world leadership in medical physics with semiconductor radiation dosimetry/detector instrumentation. This talk will present some recent research progresses in advanced radiation detector instrumentations in CMRP for medical imaging and therapy applications. These include researches and developments of advanced semiconductor detector technology for microdosimetry/nanodosimetry in photon and hadron radiation therapies; advanced nuclear imaging detectors with newly emerged silicon photomultipliers for multi-modality molecular imaging; innovative imaging devices, such as BrachyView, a novel in-body imaging system for prostate cancer therapy.
