IOP Publishing is a society publisher wholly owned by the Institute of Physics, a leading international (UK-based) learned society which promotes physics and supports physicists.　It is a world leader in publishing and electronic dissemination of research and information in physics and the physical sciences.　IOP Publishing publishes a range of journals, ebooks, magazines, conference proceedings and websites, has a strong focus on partner publishing, and a growing presence in the Asia-Pacific region.　In this talk we will tell you more about what we do at IOP Publishing, and about some of our key products.

Simon Harris, Senior Publisher, IOP Publishing

Simon has worked at IOP publishing since 1996, gaining very broad experience in that time.　Previously he worked in production as a Senior Production Editor.　He moved to Journals Editorial and became a Publisher in 2006, working on medical/radiation physics titles, and became a Senior Publisher in 2009.　Since then Simon has overseen a portfolio of biomedical engineering/physics titles, specialised in partner publishing and also in peer-review systems (he was jointly responsible for implementing IOP Publishing's move to ScholarOne in 2013).

Jarlath McKenna, Publisher, IOP Publishing

Jarlath has worked at IOP Publishing since 2010, having a research background in ultrafast optics and lasers. During his time with IOP Publishing he has worked on several journals including subject areas in atomic and molecular physics and semiconductors, and become Publisher of Journal of Optics, Laser Physics and Laser Physics Letters in 2013. His primary responsibility is overseeing the management of these titles, which are published in partnership with another society or organization.
