报告人简介:
Dehong Yu ,Instrument scientist . Dr Dehong Yu is responsible for the PELICAN: Time of Flight Polarisation Analysis Spectrometer at the OPAL reactor at ANSTO .His expertise includes studies of magnetic materials, thin films and nano-scale materials with neutrons, electrons and synchrotron radiation. Dehong Yu has been an ARC research fellow at UWA on spin-dependent interactions in atoms as well as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at Munster University in Germany, for one and half years, working on electronic structure in magnetic nanostructures. He is now responsible for the PELICAN: Time of Flight Polarisation Analysis Spectrometer at the OPAL reactor at ANSTO.
Qualifications and achievements:
-Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at Munster University in Germany, working on electronic structure in magnetic nanostructures
-ARC research fellow at UWA working on spin-dependent interactions in atoms shortly after finishing his PhD
-PhD at the University of Western Australia on spin phenomena in atoms, molecules and magnetic surfaces using spin-polarised electrons
-BSs and MSc from Qu fu Normal University, Beijing Normal University and Physics Institute of Chinese Academy of Science
