报告摘要:
Metal alloy systems exhibit a wide range of properties ranging from magnetism, microelectronics, magneto-(striction, resistive, & caloric), superconductivity, hydrogen storage, shape memory, and high entropy. A Mossbauer isotope can be used to extract information about magnetic ordering and phase composition, electronic bonding and valence information, order/disorder phase composition, as well as local vibrational density of states. This talk will discuss the role that Mossbauer spectroscopy can play in probing this rich magnetic and electronic structure of novel metal alloy systems.
